Lavender Love

14 December, 2009

I was determined to make some beautiful swirl and use up my lavender EO, so i made this. Loooooovee it! It smells heavenly (well, i’ve always loved lavender anyway). This is the perfect soap for a relaxing and calming bath/shower especially after a hard-day.

Lavender scent, Honey and Sweet Almond Oil are all precious ingredients that help to calm your mind and muscles, plus they all have brilliant healing and antiseptic properties. Grade B olive oil in the soap also acts as a moisturiser that keeps your skin smooth and soft.

Here’s the batch when i just poured it in the mould and made the swirls

Newly swirled LOL

Here’s how it looks after about 36 hours. The colours faded into merlot-ish purple and pale yellow. I accidently let the towel touch the surface before i could cover it up (typical clumpsy me) so it doesnt look that smooth.

I love the unsmooth look from the side. It looks raw and real "handmade" LOL (im just trying to cover up my clumpsiness)
